Roundtable 1 (in French): How to reach ambitious regional climate objectives

This roundtable will reflect on obstacles and opportunities to scaling up and accelerating energy efficient renovation in Belgium, bringing together public authorities and public agencies at regional level and financing institutions, as well as social housing companies and relevant stakeholders.

Roundtable 2 (in English): Learning from experiences on the ground

Which approaches and models combine best maximum saving for the tenant, financial viability of the social housing companies, and climate goals? We will exchange ideas based on concrete projects – identifying key issues that have to be handled to be able to implement on a large-scale energy saving solutions in social housing in the Belgian context.

Quels sont les approches et les modèles qui combinent le mieux les économies maximales pour le locataire, la viabilité financière des sociétés de logement social et les objectifs climatiques? Nous échangerons des idées basées sur des projets concrets – en identifiant les questions clés qui doivent être traitées pour être en mesure de mettre en œuvre à grande échelle des solutions d’économie d’énergie dans les logements sociaux dans le contexte belge.

Les deux tables rondes sont organisés dans le cadre du projet SUPER-i, qui soutient le financement de la rénovation énergétique des logements sociaux en Europe tout en augmentant la part des énergies renouvelables dans la consommation finale d’énergie. Le projet vise à générer des investissements substantiels dans l’efficacité énergétique au sein du secteur du logement social en établissant un dialogue direct entre les différentes parties prenantes, en collectant des données pertinentes sur les investissements dans l’efficacité énergétique et en aidant à développer des programmes financiers efficaces et innovants.
