EEIP at the STORMING 5th Consortium Meeting: Driving Communication & Social Acceptance

On March 5–6, 2025, EEIP joined the 5th Consortium Meeting of the STORMING project in Lyngby, Denmark, hosted by DTU. As STORMING enters its final phase, this two-day event was a key moment for collaboration, reporting, and strategic alignment, ensuring a successful project conclusion.

As leaders of Work Package 6 (Communication & Dissemination) and contributors to Work Package 5 (Social Acceptance Assessment of Hydrogen), EEIP played a central role in ensuring that project outcomes are effectively communicated and that public perception of hydrogen is thoroughly assessed.

EEIP’s Contribution: Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

At EEIP, we recognize that technical advancements must be paired with effective communication and stakeholder engagement. During the consortium meeting, we:

  • Provided updates on dissemination efforts, ensuring STORMING’s research reaches key audiences.
  • Outlined the final phase of communication activities, focusing on impact-driven outreach strategies.
  • Led discussions on social acceptance research, presenting insights from ongoing assessments on public and industry perceptions of hydrogen technologies.

With STORMING nearing completion, our role in translating results into actionable knowledge and engaging stakeholders across the hydrogen sector is more crucial than ever.

Final Phase Focus: Coordinating Results & Maximizing Impact

The consortium meeting featured reporting sessions from all six work packages, where representatives from 10 partner organizations across Europe shared updates, discussed challenges, and aligned final deliverables. The discussions emphasized:

  • Ensuring all technical milestones are met before project closure.
  • Addressing barriers to hydrogen adoption, including regulatory and societal factors.
  • Leveraging dissemination strategies to promote STORMING’s impact beyond the project’s lifespan.

What’s Next?

As the project moves towards its conclusion, EEIP will focus on:

  • Delivering final communication materials, including policy briefs, reports, and digital content.
  • Finalizing social acceptance assessments, contributing key insights on hydrogen’s role in industry and society.
  • Showcasing STORMING’s success at events and through targeted outreach.

With collaboration and communication at the forefront, EEIP remains committed to ensuring STORMING’s legacy extends beyond the project’s official timeline.

Stay tuned for more updates as we drive the conversation on hydrogen innovation!
