Advancing Hubs for Circularity: EEIP at the 3rd IS2H4C General Assembly

From February 18–20, 2025, EEIP participated in the 3rd IS2H4C General Assembly in Istanbul, Türkiye, hosted by IMMIB. As WP8 leader (Communication & Dissemination), EEIP played a key role in shaping discussions on stakeholder engagement, knowledge-sharing, and project visibility.

Bringing together 34 partners, the event focused on scaling Industrial Symbiosis into Hubs for Circularity (H4C). Discussions covered pilot hub progress, policy alignment, and emerging technologies such as carbon capture and hydrogen production.

EEIP’s Role: Driving Communication & Impact

EEIP outlined strategies to amplify IS2H4C’s outreach through:

  • Digital engagement & events to showcase project progress.
  • Reports, infographics, and webinars for knowledge-sharing.
  • Stronger industry & policy collaboration to integrate circularity strategies.

Why Hubs for Circularity Matter

H4Cs connect industries into resource-efficient ecosystems, driving energy efficiency, waste reduction, and decarbonization. IS2H4C demonstrates how collaborative models can transform industrial sustainability.

Looking Ahead

EEIP will continue enhancing IS2H4C’s visibility, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge-sharing while supporting policy integration and real-world implementation of H4Cs.
