Uncover the ins and outs of retrofitting technologies in energy-intensive industries, exploring the potential and overcoming challenges to boost energy efficiency Targeted at master students and all interested learners, this free-of-charge course will dig into the experience of RETROFEED‘s demo-sites.
The main objective of RETROFEED project is to enable the use of an increasingly variable, bio-based and circular feedstock in process industries through the retrofitting of core equipment and the implementation of an advanced monitoring and control system, and providing support to the plant operators by means of a DSS – Decision Support System – covering the production chain. This approach has been demonstrated in five resource and energy-intensive sectors (ceramic, cement, aluminium, steel, and agrochemical).
The RETROFEED E-Learning platform includes a set of online courses divided into training modules that are available for free in a user-friendly platform.
