From 20 to 22 May 2025, the DMaaST consortium met in Porto, Portugal, hosted by project partner HOLOSS. The meeting brought together consortium members to review progress, coordinate ongoing activities and align on next steps across the project.

Review of Technical Progress and Work Package Activities
During the first two days, partners presented updates on key technical developments, including progress on the data mesh, cognitive digital twins and the initial implementation of the multi-objective distributed decision support system (MO-DDSS). These discussions enabled a shared assessment of current results and supported alignment on upcoming tasks and deliverables.
The meeting also reinforced coordination between work packages, ensuring consistency between technical development, validation activities and overall project objectives.
Coordination with Related Initiatives
The Porto meeting included exchanges with the ONE4ALL project, allowing both consortia to discuss common roadmaps and alignment on key performance indicators related to flexibility, energy efficiency and circularity. This interaction complemented the DMaaST agenda while maintaining a clear focus on the project’s core objectives.
Communication and Dissemination Alignment
EEIP, acting as task leader within the communication and dissemination work package, contributed to discussions on outreach planning and stakeholder engagement. This input supports the structured communication of DMaaST progress and results to relevant industrial, research and policy audiences.
Next Steps
The consortium confirmed priorities for the upcoming project period and reiterated its commitment to delivering tools and frameworks that strengthen the resilience, sustainability and adaptability of European manufacturing ecosystems. A brief team-building activity accompanied the formal programme and supported collaboration among partners.
