STORMING Consortium Meets in Ljubljana to Prepare Final Project Phase

Aligning on Technical Progress and Final Deliverables

The STORMING consortium met in Ljubljana to align on the final phase of the project and ensure a coordinated approach towards its concluding milestones. Partners reviewed the status of the core scientific and technical work, including reactor development, catalyst performance, and system integration. The discussions confirmed that the project is on track to demonstrate the technical feasibility of CO₂-free methane cracking for hydrogen and solid carbon production, with remaining activities focused on validation and final reporting.

Preparing the Final Project Showcase and Dissemination

A key focus of the meeting was the preparation of the final project showcase and related communication activities. Partners coordinated on upcoming events, the development of dissemination materials, and the alignment of key messages for industry, policy makers, and the research community. EEIP, as leader of communication and dissemination activities, guided the discussion to ensure consistency with Horizon Europe requirements and to maximise the visibility and impact of the project’s results.

Next Steps Towards Project Closure

The consortium also addressed organisational and administrative aspects linked to the closing phase of the project, including deliverable timelines and responsibilities. Clear next steps were agreed, reinforcing close collaboration among partners in the months ahead. The Ljubljana meeting marked an important milestone, positioning STORMING to conclude with a strong technical narrative and a coherent presentation of its results to external stakeholders.
